18^th Annual Pet Fest

Saturday, October 24^th, 2020

Pet Prevent A Litter (PALS) of Central Texas is hosting our 18th Annual Pet Fest on October 24th, 2020 to promote responsible pet ownership, pet adoptions, local rescue groups, and most importantly the continued efforts to have all pets spayed and neutered and zero pets in shelters. Pet Fest is a family-friendly festival that's designed to raise awareness as well as funds to help those in need to care for and fix their pets.

This year, Pet Fest will be Virtual ! We have teamed up with Best Friends' National Virtual Event, Strut Your Mutt, and will be holding our own Virtual Event activities here in Central Texas!

One way to join in on the fun and support PALS is to join our team! For a $15 registration fee, you can be on our team and set up your own personal fundraiser to benefit PALS. Register Here !

In addition, you can download the ResQwalk app and track how many miles you walk, run, bike, stroll and Strut for the next 3 months! PALS will receive credit/funds for this when it’s linked to your Strut Your Mutt account after joining our team! Click Here for more info!

- Entries will be compiled in an album on our Facebook page and voting will take place Sept. 25-27!
- Tell all your friends to 'like' your photo! There will be a First and Second Prize!
Best Pet Trick Video Submit videos Sept. 22-29 using the form below, send it by messenger to our Facebook page or email it to volunteerpals@gmail.com !

Kiddo Contest - Draw Your Pet

Starts September 1st - Submit your child's entry by October 6th
Attach a picture of the drawing to the entry form below, email a picture of the pet to volunteerpals@gmail.com!
There will be two categories - ages 6 years and under and 7-12 year olds - Please tell us the age of your child and the name of your pet in the comments!

ResQwalk challenges

Fun Walk and Pet Food Drive - for you and your pet - September 26th - Take a picture walking your pup and post it to our Facebook event or Stop by the San Marcos Farmers Market and pick up a FREE toy for your pup! In either case, we will sign you up for a drawing with Great Prizes! We are also collecting pet food donations at that time!

On-line auction starting October 15th and ending the day of our Virtual Strut Your Mutt, October 24th
